Privacy Policy

PhoneDemo ("the App") is developed and operated by Petsound Limited ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App.

We believe in complete transparency. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our own servers. Everything you create with the App stays under your control.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, or contact details.
• Your device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data.
• The audio recordings, projects, or files you create within the App.
• Any usage analytics, crash reports, or diagnostic data (unless you choose to share a crash log manually).

The App functions entirely offline unless you choose to connect to a third-party cloud service (see Section 2). No data is ever sent to Petsound Limited.

2. Third-Party Cloud Services (Google Drive & Dropbox)

If you choose to link your Google Drive or Dropbox account, the App will request permission to access that service solely to let you export, import, or back up your own files at your direction.

To enable this, the App stores an access token securely on your device. This token acts like a key so you don't have to log in every time. We never see this token; it never leaves your device except when communicating directly with Google's or Dropbox's servers over encrypted connections.

Your use of these services is governed by their own privacy policies, not ours. We encourage you to read them:

You can revoke the App's access at any time via your Google or Dropbox account settings.

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

All your recordings, projects, and settings are stored only on your device in the App's private storage area. We have no access to this data. You are responsible for managing and backing up your own files (we recommend using the cloud export features for this purpose).

The OAuth tokens mentioned in Section 2 are also stored locally and can be deleted by removing the cloud account link within the App, or by uninstalling the App.

4. App Permissions

To function, the App may request the following permissions on your Android device. None of these are used to collect data:

• Microphone — to record audio when you press record. Audio is stored locally; we never access it.
• Storage — to save, load, and export your audio files to your device or SD card.
• Internet — only to communicate with Google Drive or Dropbox if you choose to link an account. No other network requests are made.

You can manage these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, please contact us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Because we don't collect contact information, we can't notify you directly — please check this page periodically.
